1. Disabling ghost training - the blog edition - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
I would expect a move like this from Sony Online Entertainment. But not from CCP. I just took advantage of the resub promotion and this already puts a bad taste in my mouth. But most lies do that.

5. Salvaging other peoples wrecks needs to be a criminal act !!!!!!! - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
I don't like the idea of anyone coming to salvage a wreck after I've cleared the space for them. I did risk my ship, it did take me time to clear the pocket of space and I should have first rights at it. When I see someone come in to salvage my ...

Edited by: Don West on 08/12/2007 00:52:12 If you would like to keep your widescreen resolution and fix the problem, turn shadows off. Haven't tried the alt+tab to fix it. If that works I'll be turning my shadows back on tonight. Thanks for t...

Edited by: Don West on 07/12/2007 20:22:10 I have a 1.5 year old son. Why does that matter at all? Because I upgraded to Trinity. He doesn't care about the new graphics, or the huge universe. While he was laying in my lap like he always does ...

11. 7950 GX2 SLI or 8800 Ultra? - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
88GT has been whopp'n up on the Ultra? I haven't found any results showing that (not that your wrong). I have seen several situations where the 8800GT beat out the 8800GTX though. While the GT gives the Ultra a run it doesn't beat it out.

13. 7950 GX2 SLI or 8800 Ultra? - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
I do not currently use Vista, nor do I intend to until they release service pack two. Maybe not then if things don't improve for a handful of my system components. As for DX10 the games I've run benchmarks on with Vista and WinXP have shown that...

Maybe it's just me. But when I look at the Sun, Acceleration Gates, or NPC stations (in missions) the lights are all off. If I zoom really close to them they eventually align. When I zoom out, the lights and bloom get further away form the objects...

I'm having a very difficult time deciding. I have an option to purchase a high-end graphics card and I can't make up my mind. I currently run a 7950 GX2. I can purchase another 7950 GX2 and run them in SLI, or I can purchase 1 8800 Ultra? I know...
